Hi, I’m Anna Beth, but you can call me Anna. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings and portraits throughout Northern Michigan and beyond. I believe deeply that life is a precious gift, and I consider it an honor to be invited into people’s lives to document it.
At heart, I am a storyteller. As I watch my own story unfold, I’ve become more and more convinced that these are the days worth remembering. The ordinary ones. The once-in-a-lifetime ones. All of it.
I’m drawn to people who care deeply. Those who carry childhood summers by the lake in their bones, who cherish long family dinners and golden-hour drives up north, who understand that the most meaningful moments in life are rarely posed. They are felt.
I love working with couples and families who value presence over perfection and who find beauty in what is real and lived-in. When I photograph you, I’m not simply taking pictures. I was born in Minnesota, raised in Michigan, and also spent time living in upstate New York. but Northern michigan will always be home.

i married my husband, matt, in july of 2017, and we have a four year old daughter, a three year old son, and a german short haired pointer (Life is busy in our home).

I LOVE JESUS AND BELIEVE my CALL IS TO SERVE HIM WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE.

I love to travel. So far i've been to 18 countries and over half the states, usually with camera in hand, and hope to keep growing that list.

My Philosophy
After photographing hundreds of weddings and living my own, I’ve learned this: photography is not just about how a day looks. It’s about how it feels to live it and how it will feel to remember it.
Presence Over Perfection
The moments that last are rarely posed. The laugh you didn’t plan. The tear you didn’t expect. The hug that lingered. These are the moments that shape memory, and they only happen when you are free to be fully present. My role is to protect that freedom for you.
Your Experience Matters
Your photographer shapes more than your images; they shape how you experience the day itself. Their energy, their calm, their guidance all become part of your day. I approach each wedding with a steady presence, offering gentle direction when it serves you and stepping back when a moment deserves to unfold on its own.

Your photographs are not just for now. They become the way stories are passed down and the way people are remembered. The love, the laughter, the real. My hope is that your images feel just as meaningful decades from now as they do today.
Legacy in the Making
Each year, at the same time and in the same place, my little family returns for our annual Christmas tree. The children grow. The fashions change. The tradition remains.
These photographs are not extraordinary moments. They are ordinary ones that become extraordinary with time. This is what legacy looks like to me. Not perfection, but the faithful return to what matters. The quiet accumulation of memory that makes a life feel full.
